Nancy O'Dell's first work in the industry of broadcast was as an anchor and reporter at WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. O'Dell later became morning news anchor on WCBD TV and was a crime reporter. O'Dell's reportage on the streets of Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases has led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the DUI incidents. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. Following her work in Charleston O'Dell served as co-anchor and investigative reporter for the NBC Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to her move to Access Hollywood as a weekend co-anchor and weekday correspondent. O'Dell, as well as anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Co-hosted also for the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
